Agrobusk - production of agricultural products with added value through sublimation
Agrobusk LLC is a Ukrainian agricultural enterprise that grows raspberries and blueberries, as well as ornamental plants, on a leased land area of forty hectares. The harvested berries are sold in chain supermarkets and online, including in freeze-dried form. The highest quality berries of our own production are selected for freeze-drying, which allows us to control the food safety of the product, its taste and compliance with international standards.
Agrobusk – production of agricultural products with added value through sublimation
Agrobusk grows blueberries and raspberries on ecologically clean land located far from industrial plants and highways. To provide customers with natural berries all year round, the company has launched the production of its own freeze-dried products.
Freeze-drying is healthy and environmentally friendly, as it preserves all the nutrients and vitamins in the berry without using preservatives. The freeze-drying process involves the following steps:
- Fast freezing. The product is frozen at -40°C for a short period of time, which prevents the destruction of its structure (berries or fruits remain intact).
- Creating a vacuum. After quick freezing, the berries are placed in a sealed chamber and the air is pumped out.
- Evaporation. As the pressure in the chamber decreases, the temperature is gradually increased to melt and vaporize the ice. The resulting vapor is pumped out of the chamber. Once all the ice crystals have evaporated, the sublimation process is complete.
Freeze-dried raspberries are used in cooking: they are used to decorate confectionery and desserts, added to cereals, baked goods, and chocolate, and consumed as a healthy snack instead of candy or snacks.
